September 8 - September 25
Paryushan and Das Lakshan Maha Parv
(September 8 to September 25, 2026)

Pranam and Jai Jinendra,
Prepare for a period of profound spiritual upliftment and self-purification as the Jain Center of Northern California (JCNC) celebrates the most sacred Jain festivals—Parvaadhiraj Paryushan Mahaparva and Das Lakshan Mahaparva—with great devotion and enthusiasm. These auspicious observances will culminate in Samvatsari (Kshamavani), a sacred day dedicated to forgiveness and deep self-reflection, offering us the opportunity to cleanse our souls and shed accumulated karma.
Parvaadhiraj Paryushan and Das Lakshan Mahaparva provide a unique opportunity for introspection, the practice of kshamapana (forgiveness), and engagement in spiritual disciplines that promote soul purification. During this holy period, JCNC has organized a comprehensive series of religious programs and activities for our community, ensuring that everyone can participate, experience Dharma Labh, and make these celebrations truly meaningful.
