The crown jewel of Jain festivals ParvaadhiRaj Paryushan Mahaparva and Das Lakshan Mahaparva will be celebrated with great enthusiasm at JCNC. The festivities will culminate with Samvatsari or Kshamavani, a sacred observance of forgiveness and self reflection, allowing us to cleanse our souls and shed accumulated karma.
Parvaadhi Raj Paryushan and Das Lakshan Mahaparva offer us an unique opportunity to deepen our introspection, practice kshamapana (forgiveness) and engage in actions that promote soul purification. In these auspicious periods, JCNC has organized an array of religious programs and activities for our community, ensuring everyone can participate and gain Dharma Labh, making these celebrations truly meaningful. Paryushan Schedule and Religious Signups
This year, we will be distributing education materials/stationary items (gift) to kids (no age criteria) at JCNC on the day when Shree Vardhman Kumar (Shree Mahavir Swami) is believed to go to school, as per the Kalpasutra. The gift will be distributed near the Samovasaran area on Monday & Tuesday, August 25th and 26th at 8:30 PM. Please RSVP using the link provided below.
