JCNC Sangh Unity Yatra 2025

25th Anniversary Grand Vision

JCNC Bhavan/Temple is approaching its 25th anniversary and celebrating “Rajat Jayanti” in 2025. On an auspicious and grand occasion, JCNC is planning to organize “JCNC Sangh Unity Yatra” in December 2025 from San Francisco (USA) to New Delhi (Bharat).

Mission/Objectives

“To bring together and spread Jain ethics and values from all five traditions globally and to show each soul the rich cultural legacy that exists through the JCNC Sangh Unity Yatra”.

This yatra is planned for all 5 Traditions :

  1. Terapanthi
  2. Shrimad Rajchandra (Agas Ashram)
  3. Shwetambar Sthanakwasi
  4. Digambar
  5. Shwetambar Deravasi

Give the upcoming generation of Sangh a unique experience so they may discover more about our rich history of Jain temples and historical sites. It is a chance for our JCNC members to participate in a Yatra as part of our 25th temple anniversary celebration.

General Information

To unite and promote/prosper Jain ethics and values across the traditions at a global level and demonstrate rich cultural heritage to every Soul through JCNC Sangh Unity Yatra.

This yatra is planned for all Traditions:

  • Terapanthi
  • Shrimad Rajchandra (Agas Ashram)
  • Sthanakvasi 
  • Digambar
  • Shwetambar Deravasi

The trip will last for 14 days with 12 days of traveling to different religious places in India. Please check the detailed itinerary.

Anyone interested in joining the Yatra is warmly welcome, including but not limited to JCNC Life Members, JCNC Yearly Members, Individual membership, JCNC member’s parents can join from Bharat and members of other neighborhood Sanghs*. Participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Travel Arrangements

Departure is from San Francisco on Saturday, 20th Dec 2025, and return is on 4th Jan 2026.

Tentative with Air India.

Yes, you will need a visa to enter India if you are not an Indian citizen or an OCI card holder. Please follow the directions on CGI SF Visa Information.

Health and Safety

Please consult your primary care physician.

Please contact the Unity Sangh 911 team or yatra coordinator or local guide immediately. We will have arrangements for medical emergencies and access to local healthcare facilities.

Travel insurance is not included. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers health, trip cancellations, and baggage loss.

Yes, it is recommended for every traveler to purchase their own insurance depending on their health and other requirements. It is mandatory for travel.

Accommodation and Meals

Renowned Dharamshalas with most of the facilities would be available. Specific details about each accommodation will be included in your travel documents.

No, the entire sangh will stay together and share the same facilities as much as possible.

Arrangements are subject to the dharamshalas we will be staying at, and those can differ between locations. Sangh/JCNC is not liable for any untoward incidents.

Depending on the conditions and arrangements – ekashna, biyashna, and ayambil provisions will be made available. More details to be provided in upcoming communications.

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please inform us in advance (in the registration form), and we will try to accommodate them to the best of our abilities.

Yes, navkarsi, lunch, and chovihar will be provided every day. Afternoon/evening snack/tea (wherever possible). Strictly Jain food will be served. Tithi will be followed. Navkarsi and Choviyaar will be observed.

Mode of Transport in India

We will primarily use 2*2 AC Volvo buses. Details of the transportation arrangements will be provided later on (Yatra booklet*).

All transportation costs within India are included in the trip package. Any additional personal travel expenses will be at your own cost.

Joining Flexibility

Yes, individuals may join the trip from India.

Contact the trip coordinator to discuss joining details. You will need to arrange your own transportation to join the yatra group in India and it would be your responsibility to reach the starting point at the said date and time.

While we don’t recommend it, an individual sure can do that. However the trip cost in full will have to be paid.

Religious Activities

The daily itinerary* will include a range of religious activities such as temple visits, Maharajsaheb pravachan / vyakhyan, and participation in rituals.

2) Vihaar with Sadhu and Sadhvi

3) Gochari and Vaiyavach

4) Samuhik loch Kriya 

5) Visit to Anath or Vridh Ashram

6) Prabhu Bhakti with popular singers like paras Gada, Jainam Varia

7) Inviting a Diksharti to stay with us and arranging sessions with them

8) Arranging Mini Shivir (Vachana) by Sadhu/ Sadhvi

9) Maha Aarti @ Shatrunjay Nadi 

10) Navkar jaap in the night in a temple lit with diya’s and special rangoli

11) Visiting Gaushala @ Pavapuri. Reciting Navkar to the Tiryanch 

12) A talk with Jain Media Icon Mehul Bhai Jain

13) Tirth Abhishek @ Girnar which is Nirvan Bhumi of upcoming 24 Tirthankars

14) Gathering all 5 tradition Guru’s on a stage for lecture
