Youth Jain of America (YJA) Programs
The Young Jains of America (YJA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the values and principles of Jainism among youth across North America. Founded in 1991, YJA serves as a platform for young Jains aged 14-29 to connect, learn, and grow through religious, cultural, and community-based initiatives. It organizes national conventions, regional retreats, and virtual programs that emphasize Jain values such as non-violence (ahimsa), compassion, and environmental responsibility. YJA also encourages youth leadership and community involvement, providing a space for young Jains to discuss modern applications of their faith and build lifelong connections within the Jain community.
